Privacy notice
Last updated: October 2026
This notice explains what personal data Okumen collects through okumen.com and when you contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can.
Who we are
Okumen LLC, a Florida limited liability company, is responsible for your personal data. You can reach us about anything in this notice at [email protected].
What we collect
- When you use the contact form or email us: your name, email address, company, the service you're interested in and anything you write in your message.
- When you visit the site: our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type so it can deliver the page and protect it from attacks.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media plug-ins. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so loading a page does not send your data to a font service.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to discuss or set up an engagement. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep the website secure and working. This is in our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
We never sell your data or use it for marketing lists.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:
- Web3Forms, which delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
- Microsoft, which hosts our business email.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this website.
These providers may process data in the United States. Where data about people in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred, we rely on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as the law or our contract requires. Hosting logs are kept only for a short period by Cloudflare.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll reply within one month.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Ireland that is the Data Protection Commission.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
